Frequently Asked Questions
Why did we start SuperEats?
We were always snack addicts and we couldn't find an option that was made from nutritious ingredients, while still satisfying our junk-food craving taste buds. Low calorie products weren't healthy enough, and the healthy options weren't tasty enough. So we created a brand that would allow us to innovate and develop new snacks to help people like us eat and live healthier (and HAPPIER!). In short, we wanted to help others snack with a PURPOSE.
Where can I buy them?
Check out our store locator! You can also buy online on our site or Amazon.
What's the best way to chow down on SuperEats?
Any way you want. They are perfect for dipping in hummus, eating with a sandwich, or snacking solo. They are more filling than your regular snacks - so ideal if you're looking to eat more frequent, smaller meals throughout the day.
What should I know about your ingredients?
We like using vegetables that are high in antioxidants, essential fatty acids, protein, and fiber. We use Non GMO Project Verified, Gluten Free and Kosher certified ingredients. Our products are vegan and they're all nut free. Any corn we use is always Non GMO.
What about nutrition?
First, we like to say we made our snacks "functional" in that they contain well-rounded, balanced nutrition. Also, if we use oil, it's high oleic to avoid the bad, saturated fats. So the majority of the fat in our snacks is monounsaturated fat and is trans fat free. Lastly, some of our products have a tiny amount of sugar in them (usually <1g per serving if any). The World Health Organization recently revised its recommended daily sugar intake to 25g. We are at less than 4% of this daily amount per serving, while, for example, having >10% of your recommended DV of protein in our puffs and chips.
Why use Sacha Inchi?
Sacha Inchi is a seed native to Peru that looks, tastes and feels like a peanut. However it has higher protein than alternatives (almonds, cashews, peanuts) and has healthy omega 3 fatty acids. It is also a complete protein, containing all essential amino acids, and has a very high protein digestibility versus many other vegan protein sources. Aside from nutritional benefits, it is a great agricultural export and new source of income for many low income communities in South America.
What does the future of SuperEats look like?
We are always developing new products - our favorite hobby is developing healthy food options to share with our customers. We love using new, nutrition-dense ingredients to make delicious snacks that are familiar in form. Be on the look out for product launch announcements coming soon!
